   I just want to publicly say to anyone who has been adopted and abused, get help for any psychological effects, seek the advice of an attorney and file a complaint with the police, the most tragic mistake is I could have sued and went to the police waaaay before I did, but didn't know my rights.

  If you don't move on with your life THEY WIN!!!

Thank you mykte6. Although it's a little too late for me to file a complaint, your advice is right on. It took me 37 years to seek counseling and I wish I had done it sooner. PTSD from abuse is real and needs to be dealt with so you can move on with your life. I also think it's important to open up to people you trust, and I struggle with that every day. That is why I am here, Moving On!

  I read your profile and am sorry you grew up too soon, its imperative that we speak out against adoption, a society that doesn't protect children is a degenerate society, I hope your okay and get well soon.
