I so agree with you here. Yes I have felt robbed of my power and sometimes still feel that way. What my adoptive parents and others have done to me will remain an actual fact that can not be erased and something I live with. However, I do know that I have the power to ensure that these acts are never repeated onto other children and that I have the power to make a difference and a change no matter how big or small......I just need to believe in it and feel it more. I am learning.
